Well, we should learn alot this week as far as the SEC West goes. With the Bama vs. Arkansas game we're going to see the first big matchup of supposed contenders for the SEC West title. LSU doesn't have a easy game themselves travelling up to West (By God) Virginia to take on the Mountaineers in an out of conference game. So, here is what I'm thinking:
Georgia (-9.5) at Ole Miss - It don't get any better than this! NOT! In the battle of the most irrelevant coaches in the SEC, I'm seeing UGA take this one and covering the spread.
Arkansas at Alabama (-12) - This one is tough cause it's pulling at my heart strings. I'm taking Alabama but don't think that they will cover the spread. If you check out my picks on the Scubajack Pick 'em, yes, I picked Bama to cover. The only reason I did that is because I think it's bad luck for me to pick against them in a pick 'em. Call me crazy!
Florida (-19) at Kentucky - This one won't even be close. Florida is starting to get it together and they are going to make a statement in Lexington. They win and cover.
Vandy at South Carolina (-16) - Great win for Vandy last week over Ole Miss but welcome back to the SEC Commodores! The Cocks take this one and cover the spread.
Florida Atlantic at Auburn (OFF) - Auburn is reeling after that loss last week to Clemson and they are going to open an old fashioned can of whoop ass on the Owls this weekend!
Louisiana Tech at Mississippi State (-20) - The Bulldogs are going to take out their frustrations on Tech and chalk up a win against at least one team from the state of Louisiana! They win and cover.
LSU (-5.5) at West Virginia - The Mountaineers are no doubt gonna be fired up but I think that the LSU defense is just too freaking good. I see LSU winning by probably 10 to 14 points.
Tennessee will be taking the week off and licking them wounds leftover from "The Swamp" last week! I hope all of you have a great weekend and get to see your favorite team take to the field.
