According to NCAA President Mark Emmert, Penn State built an "athletic culture that went horribly awry". As a result, the NCAA has levied the following punishment:
#1- $60 million fine with money to be used to establish an endowment to be used for the victims of child abuse and sexual abuse.
#2- 4 year bowl ban
#3- loss of ten more scholarships per year for 4 years(from 25 per year to 15)
#4- all wins by Penn State football program between 1998-2011 will be vacated.
#5- total of five years on probation
The NCAA also has reserved the right to levie punishment against any individual who might have had something to do with the violations.

The press conference is still ongoing. We will update as necessary.
